The unit ChoBom(Cho Rong & Bomi) of girl group Apink was invited to the August issue pet special of ELLE Korea.
In the interview, the two expressed their feelings and beliefs through volunteer work for abandoned dogs. Yoon Bo-mi said, “It was heartbreaking to learn that adoption was really difficult in the case of old dogs or dogs with disabilities. Sometimes I want to become more famous to make these things more public.”
Park Cho-rong said, “It is said that most dogs which people have improved extremely often suffer from disabilities. Once you know that, you can’t just look in a adorable way.”
To juniors who dream of becoming “long-lived idols” like Apink, they said, “The conversation is important. Saying ‘thank you’ and ‘sorry’ to each other often. It’s also important to respect each other’s own time.”
Apink ChoBom released their unit debut album “Copycat” on July 12. At 9pm on the same day, the title song “Copycat” ranked at the forefront of Melon’s latest chart and 6th on real-time chart of bugs.
