Mnet’s “I-Land 2” decided to postpone production

According to the staff from Mnet, “I-Land 2”, which was scheduled to air in this year, has decided to temporarily postpone.

The staff said, “It’s a decision to advance the format of ‘I-LAND’. We ask for viewers’ understanding and we’ll come back with a better program.”

“I-LAND” season 1 is a joint project between HIVE and CJ ENM to discover the next generation of K-pop artists. It aired from June to September last year and formed the boy group ENHYPEN.

Mnet announced the production of “I-LAND 2” in January by unveiling its broadcast lineup in 2022. “I-LAND 2” will feature a journey to find the next generation K-pop girl group.
