DAY6 re-signs with JYPE

JYP Entertainment announced on September 26, "All members of DAY6 Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon have renewed their contracts."

"DAY6, a group with musical symbolism, and JYP Entertainment, which has a lot of experience in band management, want to continue the meaningful partnership based on our strong trust relationship. We plan to provide systematic support and be a strong supporter for DAY6's future."

DAY6 debuted in September 2015. They won the Best Band Performance Award at 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). For seven years, DAY6 has been active as a K-pop representative band with the support of JYP Entertainment artist label STUDIO J.

On September 7, to mark the 7th anniversary of their debut, DAY6 prepared an offline meet and greet event for My Day (fandom name). Leader Sungjin participated in a face-to-face fan event as his first step after being discharged from the military. Other members Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon are currently serving in the army.
