The agency ADOR announced on November 10 that the group NewJeans will release their new single album "OMG" on January 2 next year.
"OMG" consists of the title song conceived together during the production of the debut album "New Jeans" and the winter track specially prepared for the first winter with fans. And NewJeans will pre-release a track on December 12 ahead of the album's release.
ADOR's CEO and executive producer Min Hee-jin said, "If the debut album showed the summer of NewJeans, this single album will show the winter of NewJeans."
NewJeans has attracted attention not only in Korea but also in overseas music markets with their debut album "New Jeans" released in August. NewJeans won first and second place on Melon's "TOP 100" with their debut song "Attention" and "Hype Boy." They achieved 100 million streaming on Spotify 98 days after the release of "Hype Boy," and charted on the Billboard chart for 14 consecutive weeks.
