Actress Youn Yuh-Jung left Hook Entertainment.
Hook Entertainment said on December 5, "We would like to inform that the contract with actress Youn Yuh-Jung, who has been with us since March 2017, has ended."
Hook Entertainment also said, "We will be rooting for her to always be healthy and see her in good works."
Rumors of Youn Yuh-Jung's termination of the contract were raised on November 17. Hook Entertainment said at the time that it was groundless. But eventually Youn Yuh-Jung decided to leave Hook Entertainment.
Hook Entertainment has recently been in a dispute with singer and actor Lee Seung-gi over the settlement of songs. In the process, CEO Kwon Jin-young's inappropriate words and actions and details of corporate card use were disclosed, engendering controversy. Accordingly, Lee Seung-gi notified Hook Entertainment of the termination of the exclusive contract on December 1.
