On March 9, RBW announced that MAMAMOO's unit MAMAMOO+, composed of Solar and Moon Byul, will release their first single album "ACT 1, SCENE 1" on March 29.
The agency said, "Like the name of the album, it's an album about another beginning of Solar and Moon Byul as MAMAMOO+, and you'll be able to meet their new musical transformation."
MAMAMOO+ will make a comeback in about seven months since the release of the digital single "Better" featuring rapper BIG Naughty in August last year. MAMAMOO+, the first unit of MAMAMOO, debuted with the aim of carrying out various activities without limiting music and concepts.
MAMAMOO+ posted the artwork for "ACT 1, SCENE 1" on official SNS on March 9 along with the news of their comeback. The album name and release date are written on a dark pink background reminiscent of MAMAMOO's debut album.
